Tamarama Park

Off Leash Area in Tamarama

Overview

Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Tamarama Park in Tamarama is an unfenced off-leash area. The designated section is in the central upper gully of the park.

The park is known for its sloping grassy areas, children’s playground, sports courts and connections to Tamarama Beach.

Dogs may be exercised off leash only within the designated central upper gully section, and they must remain on leash elsewhere in the park. Dogs are prohibited from entering the playground and sports courts.

Tamarama Park sits behind Tamarama Beach with access from Fletcher Street, Dellview Street and nearby residential streets.

The timed off-leash section caters for dogs with reliable recall that are comfortable in an unfenced shared space.

Tamarama Park is managed by Waverley Council.
