Kangaroo Fresh Dog Food

Kangaroo Fresh Dog Food

5 Hounds by Dr Will
5 Hounds Kangaroo is a lightly cooked, complete wet dog food using ethically wild-harvested Australian kangaroo as its sole animal protein. Kangaroo is a lean novel protein — the adult formulation sits at 60% protein and just 18% fat on a dry matter basis, making it one of the lower-fat options in the 5 Hounds range and appropriate for dogs prone to pancreatitis or those requiring weight management. Kangaroo mince and liver provide the protein base, with quinoa supplying a gluten-free carbohydrate and complete amino acid profile alongside butternut pumpkin, green beans, and spinach. Flaxseed oil, hempseeds, and spirulina contribute to the omega fatty acid profile and antioxidant load. The low fat content makes this recipe unsuitable as a high-energy diet for working or very active dogs without supplementary feeding.
