Calming Care Canine Supplement

Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements Calming Care Canine Powder Supplement is a daily probiotic supplement formulated for dogs exhibiting anxiety-related behaviours. Each sachet delivers 1×10⁹ CFU of Bifidobacterium longum BL999, a bacterial strain studied for its role in supporting calm behaviour and modulating the stress response. The powder is administered by mixing into the dog's regular food once daily.

This supplement is suited to dogs that display anxious behaviours such as excessive vocalisation, pacing, jumping, or spinning — particularly in response to triggers like separation, unfamiliar visitors, novel sounds, or changes in routine. Effects may take up to six weeks to become apparent and are not immediate. It is not a substitute for behavioural intervention where an underlying anxiety disorder has been identified. Speak with your veterinarian before introducing this supplement.
