Urinary S/O Wet Dog Food

Urinary S/O Wet Dog Food

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet

Overview

Royal Canin Urinary S/O is a veterinary-formulated wet dog food designed for dogs with lower urinary tract disease including struvite and calcium oxalate crystal formation. The wet format naturally provides higher moisture intake per meal, which promotes increased urine production and helps dilute mineral concentrations that contribute to stone formation.

The formula uses the S/O Index to create a urinary environment unfavourable to both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, and can assist in dissolving existing struvite uroliths. Pork and poultry by-products provide digestible protein at 8%, while powdered cellulose supports digestive health. Fish oil supplies omega-3 fatty acids.

The low RSS formulation reduces the relative supersaturation of urine, a key measure in preventing crystal recurrence. This diet can be combined with the dry Urinary S/O formula for added hydration benefits. This is a complete and balanced prescription diet for use under veterinary supervision.
