The freeze-drying process removes moisture without applying heat, retaining more of the organ meat's naturally occurring vitamins and minerals compared with conventional drying methods. Beef liver is a concentrated source of vitamin A and iron, and is widely used as a high-value training reward due to its strong natural scent.
These treats are produced from human-grade ingredients in a human-grade Australian facility. As beef is the sole protein source, they are not appropriate for dogs undergoing an elimination trial for beef sensitivity. Not suitable for puppies under six months of age. Organ meat is nutrient-dense, particularly in vitamin A — these treats should be given in moderation rather than as a frequent large-quantity reward, and should not displace a meaningful portion of a dog's daily balanced intake.
