Eukanuba

Eukanuba is a premium dog food brand created in 1969 by animal nutritionist Paul Iams in Dayton, Ohio. The name comes from a jazz-era expression meaning "the tops" — Iams developed the line specifically for sporting and working dogs that needed higher protein and fat levels than standard kibble.

Originally part of The Iams Company, the brand was sold by Procter & Gamble to Mars Petcare in 2014 for US$2.9 billion alongside IAMS and Natura. In Australia, Eukanuba is manufactured through Mars Petcare's local operations and available through pet specialty stores and online retailers.
