Flynns Reserve

Off Leash Area in Bexley

Overview

Flynns Reserve is an approved off-leash dog area in Bexley, set on a quiet stretch of Iliffe Street in Sydney's south. The site sits on a Sydney Water easement and was endorsed by Bayside Council as an off-leash area in late 2023, giving the local pups in Bexley a long-awaited spot to socialise.

Expect a flat, grassy run with simple amenities and easy street access — the reserve is intentionally low-key, with the focus on safe space rather than extras. Because it's a newer addition, on-site features and any time restrictions can vary, so it's worth checking signage when you arrive.

Best for medium to large dogs with reliable recall, and locals who'd rather skip the drive to the bigger Bayside parks.

Flynns Reserve is managed by Bayside Council. Please confirm operational status before visiting.
