Flynns Reserve

Flynns Reserve is a quiet off-leash dog park in Bexley, offering a large open space surrounded by mature trees and a relaxed, suburban atmosphere. Tucked away off Iliffe Street, it’s a local favourite for owners who want an easy, accessible spot to let their dogs run freely.

The park’s open grassy area is ideal for fetch and off-leash play, with enough room for energetic dogs to stretch their legs. Natural shade from established trees provides comfortable spots to rest, and the flat terrain makes it easy for both dogs and owners to move around.

Flynns Reserve is unfenced, so dogs need reliable recall, especially as there are residential streets nearby. There are no formal facilities such as agility equipment, but seating and water taps are available. Parking is available on surrounding streets, and the park’s quiet location means it rarely feels crowded.

The reserve is a short drive to other off-leash areas such as Astrolabe Park and Bona Park, making it easy to explore more of Bayside’s dog-friendly spaces in one outing.

Best suited for medium to large dogs with good recall, as well as owners who prefer a low-key, local environment without the bustle of busier parks.
