Manly Spirits Company

Manly Spirits Co. has distilled gin, whisky, vodka and liqueurs out of a Brookvale industrial warehouse since May 2017 — the Northern Beaches' first artisan spirits distillery. The house botanicals draw on sustainably sourced Australian natives and foraged marine ingredients, and the operation runs a tasting bar, barrel store, gin school and cocktail masterclass schedule. Tours and classes sell out most weekends, so the door-walk-in crowd is small. The tasting bar is open Thursday to Sunday.

Dogs are welcome in the tasting bar and barrel store, though not inside the gin school — the venue asks that only assistance dogs enter during classes. Brookvale sits it within the same industrial cluster as 4 Pines, Nomad, Dad & Dave's and Bucketty's, making the walking circuit of the precinct easy enough to fold in a cocktail stop.
