McCoy Park

Off Leash Area in Toongabbie

Overview

McCoy Park in Toongabbie is a council approved off-leash area spanning over 20 acres of open parkland set along the fork of two creeks. The off-leash zone is located in the basin area and is entirely unfenced, offering a natural, back-to-basics experience with a pond providing welcome relief for dogs on warmer days. Bins are provided, though owners should bring their own waste bags. The park connects to adjacent reserves including Sue Savage and Reynolds Park, extending the possible range for longer walks.

Located on Mimosa Avenue in Toongabbie, the park also features a children's playground, scooter track, and open sporting fields alongside the off-leash zone. The natural creek and riparian setting creates a different kind of experience to a standard fenced dog park. McCoy Park is best suited to dogs with reliable recall and owners comfortable managing off-leash exercise in an unfenced, natural environment.

McCoy Park is managed by City of Parramatta Council.
