Rusty Penny Brewing

Rusty Penny Brewing opened its first nanobrewery in Penrith in 2018 and relocated mid-2022 to larger premises. The new site doubled production capacity and added a proper tasting room and a function bar. Founders Matt and Mark have been brewing together since 2007. The move lets the brewhouse run in full view of the bar. The tap line stays broad: crisp lagers, pale ales, hop-forward IPAs and rotating seasonals. A pool table sits against the back wall. Live music runs most weekends.

Leashed dogs are welcome inside and in the outdoor seating, with water bowls on request at the bar. Rusty Penny has built out a community-brewery identity that pulls Penrith and Nepean locals through the week and into the weekends, the dogs-in-taproom policy part of the package rather than a grudging concession.
