Tunks Park

Overview
Tunks Park in Cammeray is a sprawling off-leash destination anchored by sports fields with direct access to the calm waters of Long Bay on Middle Harbour. Dogs can roam freely on the ovals when sport isn't scheduled, while the boat ramp provides natural beach access for a harbour swim. Powerful floodlighting makes it a popular after-work venue for evening off-leash runs, and poo bag dispensers near the Brothers Avenue car park entrance support clean visits.
Nestled between Middle Harbour and Middle Cove, this coastal location offers waterside recreation without the crowded beach experience. Ample parking and on-site facilities make Tunks Park one of the more accessible larger off-leash parks in the North Sydney LGA.
Tunks Park suits confident dogs and owners who value water access and spacious off-leash running. The unfenced setting with direct bay access requires solid recall, and dogs must remain leashed in bushland sections and 10 metres from the playground.
Tunks Park is managed by North Sydney Council.
