Puppy Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food

Puppy Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food

Pro Plan
4.7
(
26
)
Purina Pro Plan Puppy Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food is an extruded dry kibble formulated for the growth phase of large breed puppies. Made in Australia, it uses chicken as the primary protein source. The formula's calcium and phosphorus levels are calibrated specifically for large breed growth, where excessive mineral intake during development can contribute to skeletal abnormalities — appropriate mineral ratios are more critical in large breeds than in small or medium ones. Colostrum supports immune development following the post-weaning immunity dip. A live probiotic strain assists gut microflora balance, and DHA from fish oil supports brain and vision development. Omega-6 fatty acids contribute to skin and coat health. The formula is declared complete and balanced for growth of large breed puppies and is made without added artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. This diet is suited to large breed puppies during the growth phase only. The controlled mineral profile makes it unsuitable as a long-term adult diet; owners should transition to a large breed adult formula once growth is complete.
