Overview
Beacon Hill Reserve is a council-approved off-leash dog park with timed access, available from 11pm to 8:30am on weekdays and 11pm to 7:30am on weekends, across unfenced sportsfields at the top of Willandra Road. The expansive grounds provide plenty of running space under open skies, though excellent recall is essential given the unfenced nature and shared use with organised football and rugby league activities. Waste bags and standard amenities are provided, making it accessible for early-rising dog owners.
The Beacon Hill neighbourhood offers convenient access to local shops and is positioned within the broad catchment of services and cafes serving the Northern Beaches community. Schools, parks, and recreational facilities dot the area, creating a family-focused suburban character with leafy streets.
Beacon Hill Reserve suits well-trained dogs with reliable recall who navigate the unfenced sportsfield environment. The timed-access approach means early mornings and late nights offer prime off-leash time before the fields host weekend matches.
Beacon Hill Reserve is managed by Northern Beaches Council.
