Henley's Bar and Kitchen

Henley's took over the King Street Wharf corner in late 2023, replacing Beer Deluxe after its seven-year run on the same site. Australian Venue Co. runs the pub, with executive chef Jason Roberson over the kitchen: a menu that leans on pizza (the Peking duck pizza has its own following), parmas, burgers and charcuterie, with a $25 express lunch weekdays. The venue spans two levels out over the water — an indoor-outdoor ground floor with a beer garden, and an upstairs bar with the Darling Harbour sightline. DJs and live music run Friday through Saturday, trivia and comedy fill the midweek, and the screens carry sport through footy season.

Dogs are welcome at outdoor seating along the wharf. Of the Sydney CBD dog options, Henley's sits closest to the waterfront — a useful one when the harbour-bar tables elsewhere have filled up.
