Overview
Located in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, Meadowbank Park in Meadowbank is a fenced dog park known locally as Malik Dog Park. The secure enclosure sits within the wider Meadowbank Park precinct alongside multiple sports fields and riverside paths.
The fenced area is designed for safe off-leash play, with seating and shaded trees around the perimeter. Directly next to it is the unfenced off-leash oval on Field 13, giving owners the choice of a larger open run or a contained space.
Dogs may be exercised off leash at all times within the fenced enclosure.
Meadowbank Park stretches along the Parramatta River and connects to the Ryde River Walk. Malik Dog Park is also only a short distance from Meadowbank Dog Beach, making the precinct unique in offering secure, open-field, and water-based off-leash options in one location.
The fenced setting makes Malik Dog Park especially suitable for puppies, small dogs, or those needing a contained play space, while still allowing access to the nearby oval and beach for more active, social dogs.
Meadowbank Park is managed by the City of Ryde.
