The Dancing Bear

The Dancing Bear opened on the Parramatta River waterfront in March 2021. It arrived as the first dedicated cocktail bar in the Wentworth Point precinct. The space leans brutalist — concrete bench seating, bare-bones finishes, a drinks list that rewards the curious. Bar manager Kristine sits in the Diageo World Class Top 100 Australian Bartenders. Signatures like the Hard Mode, built around Nikka whiskey, and the Lychee Sniper show why she's on the list. Middle Eastern–inspired cocktails share the menu with curated wines and mezza-style grazing plates. Saturdays lean into live music.

Dogs are welcome on the patio. The outdoor footprint catches the river breeze off Homebush Bay. It makes an easy last stop on a Wentworth Point walk.
